This experience has led to the development of our own design software based upon an optimization of the grading curve and on the composition of the bituminous mastic, in order to obtain the best mechanical performance of asphalt concrete: compactability, deformation resistance, fatigue resistance and adapted modulus.
This design approach provides sustainability benefits such as: resource and energy savings and optimising the amount of reclaimed asphalt pavement addition, which help us create sustainable construction materials supporting NetZero and tackling climate change.
